What’s this about?

I'm Jon Cressey, and this Substack is my personal archive, and why it’s called ‘MyNotes!’ It’s mostly about the ‘stuff’ (a technical term referring to the Church, prophets and prophecy!) relating to the life of the Church.

The internet is packed with resources on these topics—so why add my thoughts and musings? Well, my goal is simple: to restore hope in the hearts of believers through a scripture-honouring approach to prophetic ministry. I'm not writing as an expert but as someone who has witnessed the immense value of prophecy in the church.

With over 200 posts, my aim is to challenge and inspire your faith. Together, we'll explore how to step intentionally into what God has planned for you, especially in discovering and nurturing prophetic gifts. It’s all about bridging the gap between faith and daily life.

By subscribing below, you’ll potentially save a penguin and you’ll also receive encouragement (mostly on Fridays) to pursue a deeper understanding of prophetic ministry and its role in empowering us to fulfil God’s plan—for our lives and the world. You probably won’t find anything radically new here, but my hope is that it affirms what you already know, in a way that’s creative, scripture-rich, and faith-stirring.

MyNotes, unlike other sites here on Substack will always be free - no charge - so if you enjoy it, all I ask is that you introduce it to your friends rather than keep it secret.
